Chipper Jones Park Playground Temporarily Closed

As of Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the playground at Chipper Jones Park will be closed for up to 30 days while Public Works removes unsafe and aging equipment, cleans the remaining equipment, and performs general maintenance.
In the coming weeks, the Council will be discussing the budgeting of long-overdue new equipment. Please bear with us as we work to refresh our playground and make improvements for the safety of our residents. Thank you to those who have participated in public discussions with our Council and staff regarding this matter. We always appreciate feedback and input from our community.
